Semiconductor/Electronic industry generate a wide variety of different production wastewaters due to complex manufacturing processes such as chemical mechanical polishing, or various rinsing or electro platting processes. These wastewaters contain a number of potentially problematic ingredients such as:
complexing agents, organo-nitrogen compounds, toxic compounds, TOC, heavy metals, COD, BOD, etc. (Total Organic Compound).
This complex mixture is a problematic ingredient in semiconductor manufacturing process. It poses a challenge for conventional methods of wastewater treatment.
